Product details

The Omron E3SR67 is an NPN retroreflective photoelectric sensor from the E3S series, offering a sensing range of 100–300 mm with a 1 ms response time. The infrared LED emitter and M12 connector simplify panel wiring with IP67 protection for wet washdown zones.

The E3SR67 is mechanically identical to the E3SR87: same 29.2 mm width, 50 mm length, sensing range, response time, and M12 connector. The sole difference is the output polarity — the E3SR67 is NPN, while the E3SR87 is PNP. If your installed base uses a PNP input card, the E3SR87 drops in without rewiring; the E3SR67 requires swapping the output type or adding a signal converter. For a panel already wired for NPN, this sensor is a direct spare.

M12 connector, Light/Dark ON selector, IP67 housing, 29.2 mm width, 1 ms response. Part of the E3S series.

Frequently asked questions

What is the sensing distance and response time of the E3SR67?

Sensing distance is 100–300 mm with a 1 ms response time. The minimum standoff is 100 mm.

Will the E3SR67 drop into a panel specified for the E3SR87 without rewiring?

Mechanically yes — same 29.2 mm width, same M12 connector. Electrically no: the E3SR67 is NPN, the E3SR87 is PNP. Panel rewiring or a polarity converter is required.

Which E3SR6x variant is interchangeable with the E3SR67?

The E3SR87 is the closest functional twin — identical dimensions, sensing range, and response time — but with PNP output instead of NPN. No other E3SR6x sensor matches the NPN output type.
