Integrator note
Omron E3T-SL12M is an NPN convergent-reflective sensor with a 5–15 mm sensing range on 50×50 mm white paper. Response time is 1 ms max, powered by 12–24 VDC (20 mA max consumption). The red LED (650 nm) gives a visible spot for alignment. Open-collector output handles up to 50 mA at 26.4 VDC, with residual voltage under 2 V at moderate load—enough for direct PLC input. Built-in protection covers reverse polarity, short-circuit, and mutual interference prevention, saving external diodes or fuses.
