The Omron E3TFL112M is a compact diffuse reflective photoelectric sensor from the E3T series, offering a 15mm sensing range with NPN light-ON output. Runs on 12-24 VDC, pulls up to 50 mA, and switches in 1 ms. Sealed to IP67 with a 2 m pigtail — fine for washdown or dusty lines.
Vs. E3T-FD13 — the PNP cousin
The E3T-FD13 is also an E3T diffuse reflective, but with a PNP output and a taller body — 24 mm vs. 3.5 mm for this one. If your panel was wired for NPN sink, this part drops right in electrically; if it was wired for PNP source, you'd need to swap the load wiring or add a converter. The E3T-FD13 also senses up to 30 mm, but that's a different application need. Footprint width (12 mm) is the same; the 3.5 mm height of the E3TFL112M slots into tighter spaces than the 24 mm FD13.
