Overview
The E3TST14 is an Omron E3T series through-beam photoelectric sensor set rated for 1 m sensing distance with a PNP Dark-On output, switching at 1 msec response time. It runs on 12-24V DC, detects a 2 mm diameter opaque object minimum, and is sealed to IP67 in a PBT rectangular body with a 2 m prewired cable.
How it compares
Compared to the E3T-FT14, the E3TST14 doubles the sensing distance to 1 m versus 500 mm, but the minimum object size increases to 2 mm diameter from 1.3 mm — pick the E3TST14 when the application needs the longer range and can tolerate the larger target.
