Grooved detection in a compact cylindrical body
The Omron E3Z-G82 is a grooved-type (fork-style) photoelectric sensor with a built-in amplifier, designed for through-beam detection of opaque objects as small as 1.5 mm diameter within a 25 mm gap. PNP output and a selectable Light-ON/Dark-ON switching mode make it a straight drop-in for panels wired for sourcing logic. Runs on 24 V DC supply (12–24 V DC range allowed per the series), draws up to 40 mA, and comes pre-wired with a cable — no separate connector to source.
