Field-fit note
E3ZB86OMS is a retro-reflective PNP sensor from Omron's E3Z series – current production, so it's on the van today, no LTB scramble. Screws into an M8 connector, which means you can replace it in five minutes without opening the panel: pull the old one, plug the new one, align the reflector. Rated IP67, so it'll survive washdown and the dust an unpacking station kicks up. Sensing from 80 mm to 500 mm, red LED, 1 ms response – quick enough for box counting and presence on a conveyor divert.

Footprint is 10.8 mm wide, 31 mm tall, 20 mm deep. M8 male connector exits the back. Standard E3Z housing; dimensions swap height and length compared to cable-tailed E3ZB812MOMS (20 mm tall, 31 mm deep).
