The Omron E3ZM-CT87B is a compact stainless steel through-beam photoelectric sensor built for wet, oily washdown environments. It delivers a 20 m sensing range with a PNP output via an M8 4-pin connector. The orange LED emitter and IP69K-rated housing let it stand up to caustic CIP cycles and high-pressure spray — it takes the hot caustic without flinching. Supply voltage is 12 to 24 VDC, with L-ON/D-ON operation selectable on the housing. The stainless steel body resists oils, chemicals, and detergents, so it holds up on a bottle line or in a brewhouse where washdown is routine.
