Active production — what that means for your BOM line
The E5CC-CQ3A5M-001: It accepts RTD and thermocouple types B, E, J, K, L, N, PLII, R, S, T, U, W, plus linear 0–20 mA or 0–10 VDC signals, covering just about any process sensor you'd hang off a panel.
Output mix — analog, relays, and SSR drive
Three relay outputs handle on/off or alarm duties, a voltage pulse for an external SSR gives you solid-state switching for heaters, and the analog output can feed a recorder or a remote setpoint — all in one 45 mm square hole. The heater fault detection input (CT) lets the controller monitor current draw and flag a blown heater element, which saves a maintenance walk when you're running a multi-zone oven or extruder.
Panel fit and sealing
Panel cutout is a standard 45 mm square — same as every E5CC, so it drops into existing punch-outs without rework. Screw terminals on the back, no special tooling needed. IP66 rating on the front face means it takes washdown spray and dust — good for food processing or anywhere the panel gets hosed off. The gasket is the seal; don't lose it during install.
