Controller type and sensor input range
The E5CC-CQ3A5M-005 is a process and temperature controller accepting RTD and thermocouple types B, E, J, K, L, N, PLII, R, S, T, U, W, plus linear inputs 0–20 mA and 0–10 VDC. The input range spans -200°C to 2300°C for thermocouple/RTD types, covering cryogenic to high-temp furnace loops on one part number.
Output architecture and load interface
Three relay outputs handle on/off or alarm functions; an analog output provides a retransmission or control signal; a voltage pulse output drives an external SSR for solid-state switching. The mixed output set means one controller can simultaneously drive a contactor, a 4-20 mA valve positioner, and a heater SSR without an external signal conditioner.
Panel fit and environmental sealing
Panel mount with a 45.00 mm square cutout — the standard E5CC footprint — drops into existing punch patterns without panel rework. IP66 front-panel rating means the display and keypad survive washdown cycles; the screw-terminal rear is protected behind the panel gland.
