Input range and control flexibility
The E5CC-CQ3D5M-006: Accepts RTD and 13 thermocouple types (B, E, J, K, L, N, PLII, R, S, T, U, W) plus 0–20 mA and 0–10 VDC process signals, covering -200°C to 2300°C or standard analog transmitter outputs. Control method is On/Off or proportional (PID) — the PID loop auto-tunes, so you can commission it without manually calculating gains.
Outputs and event input
Three relay outputs handle on/off or alarm functions, one analog output provides a retransmission or control signal, and a voltage output drives an external SSR for solid-state switching. The event input lets an external contact or PLC digital output switch between setpoints, start/stop the PID, or trigger a hold — useful for recipe changes without touching the front panel.
Panel mount in a standard 45.00 mm x 45.00 mm square cutout — the IP66 front face is dust-tight and water-resistant, so it holds up in washdown zones or humid enclosures without a secondary cover. Screw-terminal connections simplify field wiring; the dual-color LCD shows process value and setpoint simultaneously (0.600" and 0.280" character heights) for quick readability from a few meters away.
