Panel fit and input flexibility
The Omron E5CC-CX2DSM-800 is a 1/16 DIN process controller that drops into a 45.00mm x 45.00mm square panel cutout and secures with the included mounting bracket — no DIN rail, it's a panel-mount unit rated IP66 on the front face, so it holds up against washdown splashes and dust on a lube route or in a food plant. It accepts a wide range of inputs: thermocouple types B, E, J, K, L, N, PLII, R, S, T, U, W, plus RTD and linear signals (0–20 mA, 0–10 VDC), covering the span from -200°C to 2300°C — one controller for most process loops.
Outputs and control logic
Two relay outputs and one analog output for on/off or PID control. The LCD dual-color backlit display shows two rows of four characters each — a 0.600" main row for process value and a 0.280" lower row for setpoint — readable from across a panel. Power supply is 24 VAC/DC, screw-terminal wiring — common on control panels where a 24 VDC bus already runs the PLC I/O.
