The E5CC-CX3A5M-5800U: This is the starter-kit variant of the E5CC controller — includes the controller, a programming cable, and CX-Thermo software bundled in one SKU. That's one less line item if you're building a first-off test rig or commissioning a new zone. The controller itself handles a wide range of sensors: RTD, thermocouple types B through W, plus 0–20 mA or 0–10 VDC process inputs. Span from –200°C to 2300°C covers most low-to-high temp loops. Outputs are one analog (current or retransmit) and three relays. That gives you drive for a SCR/heater contactor, plus two alarms and one event output, all in a 48x48 DIN face. Dual-color, dual-row backlit LCD shows process and setpoint simultaneously.
Kit contents & mounting
The kit saves tracking down a separate programming cable and software disk. Cable plugs into the front mini-USB port under the door. Panel cutout is 45x45 mm; the gasket gives IP66 on the front face, so it lives on a panel exposed to wash-down or dust. Supply is 100–240 VAC — no extra DC power supply needed for most cabinets. Screw terminals: RSTW-A style, no special tooling.
