Event input and control loop
The E5CC-QQ3A5M-006: The event input can latch a mold-closed or cycle-start signal to begin a profile or reset a timer — useful on injection molding cells where a stand-alone controller tracks one zone without a PLC. The dual-color LCD shows process value and setpoint simultaneously; characters are 15.2 mm and 7.1 mm high for readability across a machine. Control is on/off or PID with autotune. Rated for 100-240VAC supply and -10°C to 55°C ambient. Screw terminals make field wiring straightforward. The 45 mm square panel cutout matches the standard E5CC footprint — no adaptation needed if replacing another E5CC variant.
How it sits against siblings
The key difference from the E5CC-CX3A5M-004 and E5CC-RX3A5M-003: this seed has no RS-485 communications. If you need Modbus or recipe download, the CX (analog + relay output) or RX (4 relays + heater fault detection) add serial link. The seed trades that for an event input, which neither sibling offers — so if a machine uses a dry-contact trigger to start a ramp, this is the right pick. Outputs also differ: seed gives relay (3) and voltage for external SSR (2); CX gives analog and relay; RX gives four relays. Mounting and cutout are identical, but wiring must match the output card.
