The Omron E5CC-QX0DUM-000 is a 1/16 DIN process and temperature controller from the E5CC family, packing a voltage output for driving an external solid-state relay (SSR). It accepts a wide range of sensor inputs — RTD, thermocouple types B, E, J, K, L, N, PLII, R, S, T, U, W — plus 0–20 mA and 0–10 VDC process signals, covering everything from a -200°C cryo bath to a 2300°C furnace. Power it from 24 VAC or 24 VDC, so it slots into panels that already run on a 24 V control transformer or a DC bus — no separate 100–240 VAC tap needed. The LCD dual-color backlit display gives you two rows of four characters each, 0.600" and 0.280" tall, so setpoint and process value are readable from a few feet away on a machine face. The front panel carries an IP66 rating — dust-tight and protected against hose-down.
Mounts into a standard 45 mm square panel cutout, secured with the included clamp. Wiring lands on an 11-pin octal base — the same footprint as many general-purpose relays and timers, so a panel builder can pre-wire the socket and snap the controller in after commissioning. The voltage output is sized to fire an external SSR directly — no interposing relay needed. Control method is selectable between On/Off and proportional (PID), with the PID auto-tune that the E5CC series is known for.
