Controller fit and sensor lineup
The Omron E5CC-QX2ABM-000 is a 1/16 DIN panel-mount process controller that accepts the widest common sensor set: RTD (Pt100), plus thermocouple types B, E, J, K, L, N, PLII, R, S, T, U, and W. That means it handles everything from a -200°C cryo bath to a 2300°C furnace on one unit, plus 0-20 mA or 0-10 VDC linear inputs for pressure or flow transmitters. The input range spans -200°C to 2300°C for TC and RTD, or 0-20 mA / 0-10 VDC for analog signals. Control method is selectable between On/Off and full PID with auto-tune. Two relay outputs handle direct load switching (heat/cool or alarm), and a voltage pulse output drives an external SSR for faster cycling on resistive heater loads. The 100-240 VAC supply powers the controller directly — no separate 24 VDC converter needed for the logic.
Mounts in a 45.00 mm square panel cutout — standard 1/16 DIN footprint. IP66 front rating means the display and keypad survive washdown spray — suitable for food, beverage, or chemical process panels where hose-down cleaning is routine. Dual-color LCD backlight (green/red) with 4+4 character rows, 15.2 mm and 7.1 mm character heights. The larger row shows process value; the smaller row shows setpoint or parameter. Easy to read from across a panel.
