The E5CC-QX3A5M-001: Outputs are three relay contacts plus a dedicated voltage pulse for external SSR – that voltage output (typically 12VDC at 20mA) lets you drive the SSR gate directly, removing the need for a separate SSR driver board. The relay bank handles alarm, event, or secondary control loops. Heater fault detection uses an external current transformer (CT) to monitor load current and flag a broken heater element. The event input can latch an external contact (e.g. door interlock, flow switch) to freeze or override the loop – both features give the controller standalone diagnostic reach without talking to a PLC.
