What this 1/16 DIN controller accepts and drives
The Omron E5CC-QX3A5M-5800U is a 1/16 DIN panel-mount controller that reads RTD, thermocouple types B/E/J/K/L/N/PLII/R/S/T/U/W, plus 0-20 mA and 0-10 VDC process signals – covers the vast majority of temperature and linear process inputs on a single unit. Outputs are three relays (for heat/cool/alarm) and a voltage pulse to fire an external SSR – common for driving resistive heaters or solid-state contactors without an interposing module. Control method is selectable between On/Off and PID with auto-tune, so it works as a simple limit controller or a closed-loop regulator out of the box.
Panel cutout is 45.00 mm square – standard 1/16 DIN – and the IP66 front panel rating means the face and bezel survive washdown in food, beverage, or pharmaceutical lines without a secondary cover. Operating temperature range is -10°C to 55°C, and the screw-terminal rear connection is field-friendly for retrofit or new panel builds.
