What this controller does with a 24V rail
The E5CC-QX3D5M-006 is a panel-mount process and temperature controller that reads RTD, thermocouple (types B, E, J, K, L, N, PLII, R, S, T, U, W), 0-20mA, or 0-10VDC inputs — spanning -200°C to 2300°C or the full process signal range. It runs on 24VAC/DC, so it fits panels where a 24V control transformer or DC power supply is already present — no need to pull a separate 100-240VAC circuit just for the controller. Three relay outputs handle on/off or PID-driven switching for heaters, valves, or alarms, plus a voltage pulse output drives an external SSR for faster cycling than relays alone can manage.
Panel fit and front-end sealing
Mounts in a standard 45mm x 45mm square panel cutout and seals to IP66 at the front face — dust-tight and resistant to hose-down, so it lives on a washdown line or in a dusty enclosure without a secondary cover. The dual-color LCD backlight shows two rows of four characters each — 0.600-inch on the main row, 0.280-inch on the secondary — readable from a few metres across a machine cell. Screw-terminal connections; no special tooling needed for field wiring.
