Integrator’s first look
The E5CC-QX3D5M-007: Three relay outputs handle on/off or PID drive for contactors or smaller loads; a voltage pulse output drives an external SSR directly, so you don’t need a separate interface module. The event input is a digital trigger — useful for switching between preset PID sets or enabling/disabling control without extra PLC I/O. IP66 front means washdown-safe on food or packaging lines; square 45 mm cutout matches the E5CC family footprint, so drop-in upgrades from older units require no panel rework.
Comparing with nearby E5CC siblings
Versus the E5CC-CX3A5M-004, the -QX3D5M-007 trades analog output and RS-485 communications for a simpler all-discrete control set. The -004 also runs on 100–240 VAC, so swapping panels requires checking both the supply voltage and the control signal wiring.
Sourcing and lifecycle
This is an active, current-production part from Omron. Shipped with full traceability through our authorized franchise. No last-time-buy calendar — supply is stable for new designs and maintenance spares. For BOM freeze or line-support orders, we can quote against the exact order code; the 24V supply and event input are the distinguishing features to specify to avoid picking up the wrong sibling.
