Field-replaceable controller with octal base
The Omron E5CC-RW2AUM-000 is a 1/16 DIN temperature controller that accepts RTD, thermocouple (B, E, J, K, L, N, PLII, R, S, T, U, W), 0–20 mA, or 0–10 VDC inputs. Three relay outputs handle on/off or PID control. The plug-in octal base (11-pin) means you can swap the controller in seconds without pulling wires — just unplug the old one, plug in the new. If you're servicing a panel in the field, that's the difference between a 10-minute swap and a retermination job.
Why this one vs the screw-terminal peers
Compared to the E5CC-CX3A5M-006 (screw terminal, analog + relay output), the RW2AUM-000 gives up the analog output channel but keeps three relays. The real difference is the termination: octal plug-in vs screw clamp. If the existing panel has a socket base, this drops right in. If it's wired to screw terminals, you're swapping the base too — or stick with the screw-terminal version. No difference in input range, cutout, or supply voltage.
