48x48 mm panel fit and what the relay output means for the loop
The E5CC-RX2ASM-006: The 48x48 mm face (1/16 DIN standard) fits the common panel cutout — no adapter plate needed for a standard enclosure punch. Control output 1 is a relay (rated for general-purpose switching), not a solid-state or linear DC drive. That means the output cycles an external contactor or SSR — it does not drive a heater directly beyond a few amps. Control output 2 is omitted (X = None), so this variant is a single-loop controller with no second analogue or relay output for dual-actuator or cascade schemes.
Universal input and auxiliary I/O — one SKU covers multiple sensor types
The universal input (M type) accepts thermocouple (J, K, T, etc.), RTD (Pt100), or analogue signals (0-10 V, 4-20 mA) without a separate input module — the sensor type is set in software during commissioning. Two auxiliary outputs are available for alarms, event signalling, or retransmission — useful for driving a remote indicator or triggering a safety shutdown on a process deviation. The 006 option adds two event inputs and a transfer output, giving the controller the ability to switch between preset sets or latch a remote reset signal without an external PLC.
Power supply and wiring — global voltage, field-friendly terminals
Rated for 100 to 240 VAC, the controller powers up on any standard line voltage from 100 V Japanese to 240 V European without a voltage selector jumper — one part number covers global installs. Screw terminals (S type) accept solid or stranded wire up to 14 AWG — no special crimp tool or ferrule required for field termination, though ferrules are recommended for stranded wire in high-vibration panels.
