Three relay outputs, universal supply, spring terminals
The Omron E5CC-RX2DBM-006 is a panel-mount process temperature controller from the E5CC series, accepting RTD and thermocouple types B, E, J, K, L, N, PLII, R, S, T, U, W plus analog 0-20mA and 0-10VDC inputs across a -200°C to 2300°C span. Three relay outputs handle the control and alarm duties — enough for a heat/cool loop plus a process alarm, or a single loop with dual alarms and a retransmission signal. Runs on 24VAC or 24VDC — same part works in a DC-powered panel or an AC control transformer, no separate model needed. Spring-cage terminals (not screw) mean the wire is clamped by pushing a tool; faster to land on a panel build and less likely to loosen under thermal cycling.
PID control in a 45mm square cutout
On/Off or proportional (PID) control method with autotune — the controller learns the process dynamics on startup and sets its own P, I, D terms, so a commissioning engineer can walk away after the first heating cycle. The panel cutout is a standard 45mm x 45mm square — fits the common 1/16 DIN hole without adapter plates. IP66 front seal means the faceplate survives washdown spray — a brewery or dairy line can hose down the panel without bagging the controller. Dual-row LCD shows process value (0.600" tall) and setpoint (0.280" tall) simultaneously — no scrolling through menus to read the actual temperature.
Active production, sourced per BOM
Operating temperature range -10°C to 55°C means it lives in a control cabinet, not an oven — fine for plant-floor enclosures with ambient cooling.
