48x48mm PID controller with four relay outputs
The Omron E5CC-RX3A5M-000 is a 48 x 48 mm process temperature controller from the E5CC series, accepting RTD and thermocouple types B, E, J, K, L, N, PLII, R, S, T, U, W plus 0-20 mA and 0-10 VDC analog inputs over a span from -200°C to 2300°C. Four relay outputs drive the control loop — On/Off or proportional PID — and the front panel carries a dual-color LCD backlit display with two rows of four characters each (0.600" and 0.280" character heights). Screw-terminal wiring, 100-240 VAC universal supply, and a standard 45 x 45 mm square panel cutout make this a drop-in replacement for existing 48 mm controllers across industrial ovens, packaging lines, and HVAC skids.
IP66 front seal and ambient limits
The front panel is rated IP66 — dust-tight and protected against hose-directed water — so the controller survives washdown environments in food processing or chemical plants when the sealing gasket is properly seated against the panel. Ambient operating range is -10°C to 55°C; the controller should be mounted away from direct oven-wall heat or steam vents that push the enclosure interior above that ceiling.
