Input flexibility and control loop
The E5CC-RX3A5M-006 accepts RTD, eleven thermocouple types (B, E, J, K, L, N, PLII, R, S, T, U, W), 0-20 mA, and 0-10 VDC inputs — so it handles most temperature and analog process signals without a signal conditioner. The input range spans -200°C to 2300°C depending on sensor type. Control method is selectable between On/Off for simple limit or tank control, and proportional (PID) for closed-loop regulation. The four relay outputs can drive contactors, solenoid valves, or alarm annunciators directly — no interposing relay needed for most loads up to the relay contact rating.
Mounts in a standard 45 mm × 45 mm square cutout — the 1/16 DIN footprint that fits existing panel punches. Screw terminals simplify field wiring without special tools; no crimp ferrules required for stranded wire. The front panel carries an IP66 rating — dust-tight and protected against hose-directed water. This means it can be installed on a washdown station or outdoor cabinet without a secondary cover. Operating range is -10°C to 55°C, covering most control cabinet environments.
