Panel fit and input flexibility
The Omron E5CC-RX3D5M-000 is an active-production process and temperature controller that accepts RTD and thermocouple types B, E, J, K, L, N, PLII, R, S, T, U, W, plus 0–20 mA and 0–10 VDC linear inputs. That range covers everything from -200°C up to 2300°C, so it handles a furnace zone or a freezer line on the same unit. The 45 mm square panel cutout is the standard 1/16 DIN footprint — drops into the same hole as any E5CC variant. IP66 rating on the front means it takes washdown spray without a separate cover.
Four relay outputs and control logic
Four relay outputs give you separate channels for heat, cool, alarm, and event — or you can gang them for staging. The control method is selectable between On/Off and full PID with auto-tune, which is the standard loop for most process applications. Supply is 24 VAC/DC, so it works on control transformers or a DC bus without a separate power supply module. Screw terminals mean no special tooling for field wiring.
Active production and sourcing
The dual-color LCD shows 4 digits per row, with 0.600" and 0.280" character heights for the two rows. That makes the process value readable from across a panel.
