Input flexibility and supply voltage
The E5CC-TCQ3A5M-006 accepts RTD, thermocouple types B/E/J/K/L/N/PLII/R/S/T/U/W, plus 0-20mA and 0-10VDC analog signals, powered from 100-240VAC. This universal input range means one part number covers most temperature sensing needs in a panel — no need to stock separate RTD and thermocouple controllers.
Output configuration and control method
Outputs include analog, three relays, and voltage for external SSR — the voltage output drives a solid-state relay directly without an interposing interface. Control method is On/Off or PID, with an event input for external triggering (e.g., start/stop from a PLC). The dual-color LCD backlit display shows two rows of four characters each, 0.600" and 0.280" tall, readable from across a panel.
Panel mount with a 45.00mm x 45.00mm square cutout — the standard 1/16 DIN footprint. Screw terminals simplify wiring without special tools. The IP66 front-panel rating means it withstands dust ingress and water jets from any direction, suitable for washdown areas in food processing or packaging lines. Operating temperature range is -10°C to 55°C, covering most indoor panel environments.
