What this controller does and what it needs
The E5CC-TCQ3D5M-006 is a panel-mount process and temperature controller from the E5CC-T series, running on a 24VAC/DC supply. It accepts inputs from RTDs, thermocouples (types B, E, J, K, L, N, PLII, R, S, T, U, W), plus 0–20mA or 0–10VDC linear signals, covering a range from -200°C up to 2300°C. The control outputs are a mix: one analog output for retransmission or valve positioning, three relay outputs for on/off or alarm functions, and a voltage pulse output to drive an external SSR for heater switching. Control method is selectable between simple On/Off and full PID with auto-tuning, so it fits both basic limit control and closed-loop process regulation.
Panel fit and IP66 front seal
Mounts in a standard 45mm x 45mm square panel cutout — the same footprint as other E5CC family controllers, so a swap into an existing panel hole is straightforward. The front face carries an IP66 rating, meaning it is dust-tight and protected against hose-directed water. That makes it a candidate for washdown areas or outdoor cabinets where a standard controller would fog or fail. Screw-terminal connections on the rear — no special tooling needed for field wiring, and the terminals accept standard stranded or solid wire up to the controller's rating.
