Panel-mount controller with universal input flexibility
The Omron E5CC-TCX3D5M-005 is a process and temperature controller from the E5CC-T series, accepting RTD, thermocouple Types B/E/J/K/L/N/PLII/R/S/T/U/W, plus 0-20mA and 0-10VDC process signals. Input range spans -200°C to 2300°C for temperature, with the process inputs covering standard transmitter outputs. It runs on 24VAC/DC universal supply — one part number covers both AC and DC panel buses, simplifying spares stock. The IP66-rated front panel withstands washdown in food, beverage, or pharmaceutical lines without a secondary cover. Outputs include one analog signal plus three relay outputs, enough for a main control loop plus dual alarms or a secondary heat/cool configuration. Control method is selectable between On/Off and PID with auto-tuning.

Panel cutout is 45.00mm x 45.00mm — the standard 1/16 DIN size that drops into existing punch-outs without rework. Screw terminals mean field wiring with a standard screwdriver, no special crimp tooling. The dual-color LCD shows four characters per row in two rows — process value (PV) and setpoint (SV) visible simultaneously. Character heights are 0.600" for the top row and 0.280" for the bottom, readable from across a panel. An event input is included for remote run/hold, alarm reset, or setpoint switching — useful when the controller is mounted in a sealed cabinet and operators need external control without opening the door.
