The Omron E5CC-TQQ3A5M-005 is an active E5CC-T series process and temperature controller that accepts RTD and a dozen thermocouple types (B, E, J, K, L, N, PLII, R, S, T, U, W) plus 0–20mA and 0–10VDC analog inputs, covering a -200°C to 2300°C range. Control output is split between three relays and two voltage outputs for external SSRs, so it handles both on/off and proportional (PID) strategies without an extra interface card. The event input acts as a discrete trigger – useful for batch step changes, cascade override, or tying a safety interlock into the control loop without separate logic. Supplied at 100–240VAC, panel-mounted behind an IP66 front bezel into a standard 45mm square cutout. Screw terminals keep field wiring simple.
This variant sits between two E5CC siblings: the E5CC-CX3A5M-004 (analog output + RS-485 CompoWay/F Modbus) and the E5CC-RX3A5M-003 (heater fault detection, four relays, RS-485). The TQQ3A5M-005 drops the serial port and analog output but gives you two voltage outputs for external SSR drives plus that event input – a clean fit when you need SSR-controlled PID without the CompoWay overhead or heater monitoring. Panel cutout and mounting are identical across all three, so a physical swap is straightforward if you later need a variant with communications or heater fault sensing.
