What the output mix means for your loop
The E5CC-TQQ3D5M-001 carries three relay outputs and two voltage pulse outputs for driving external SSRs. That relay count handles direct switching of contactors, solenoid valves, or alarm circuits without an interposing relay bank, while the voltage pulses let you fire a solid-state contactor or SSR for zero-cross switching of heater loads — the heater fault detection feature monitors the load current on those outputs and flags a broken element or shorted SSR.
Sensor and thermocouple reach
It accepts RTD and thirteen thermocouple types (B, E, J, K, L, N, PLII, R, S, T, U, W) plus 0–20 mA and 0–10 VDC linear inputs, covering the range -200°C to 2300°C. That means one part number handles everything from a cryogenic RTD on a cold trap to a Type B thermocouple on a 2000°C furnace — no need to stock different input modules for different sensor types.
Panel fit and washdown rating
Panel mount with a 45.00 mm x 45.00 mm square cutout — the standard 1/16 DIN footprint. Screw terminals for field wiring, no special crimp tool needed. The IP66 front-panel seal means the display and keypad survive hose-down cleaning in food, beverage, or pharmaceutical lines; the gasket seats against the panel cutout edge, not the housing thread, so the seal integrity depends on the panel surface finish.
