The E5CC-TQX3D5M-000: It runs on a 24 VAC/DC supply, which means it drops straight into a 24 V control transformer or DC bus without needing a separate AC tap — a common constraint in compact panels where 100-240 VAC isn't available. The 45 mm square panel cutout (1/16 DIN standard) fits the same hole as any other E5CC variant, so swapping between supply voltages or output configurations doesn't require re-cutting the panel.
What the output and input ratings mean for your loop
Three relay outputs handle on/off or time-proportional control of contactors, solenoid valves, or alarm circuits — each relay is a dry contact rated for the controller's internal switching capacity, so you don't need external interposing relays for typical pilot-duty loads. The voltage (external SSR) output drives a solid-state relay directly, giving you zero-cross switching for heater loads without the mechanical wear of a relay — this is the typical choice for electric furnace or extruder zones where cycle life matters. Input range spans -200°C to 2300°C across thermocouple types B, E, J, K, L, N, PLII, R, S, T, U, W plus RTD, plus 0-20 mA and 0-10 VDC analog signals — one part number covers everything from cryogenic monitoring to high-temperature kiln control.
IP66 front seal and panel integration
The IP66-rated front panel (dust-tight and protected against hose-directed water) means this controller can be mounted in washdown zones — food processing, beverage lines, or chemical dosing skids — without a separate enclosure door.
