Panel-ready temperature controller with HB & HS alarm
The Omron E5CCRX3A5M001OMI is a current-production digital temperature controller from the E5CC series, accepting universal inputs (analogue, RTD, thermocouple) and driving a 3 A @ 250 VAC relay output. It runs on 100-240 VAC and is mounted in a standard 45x45 mm panel cutout. The HB & HS alarm monitors heater current for burnout (HB) and short-circuit (HS) conditions, which saves a process line from chasing open elements or welded contactors. Cycle time is 50 ms, and the controller supports ON/OFF or 2-PID control. Rated IP66 at the front panel, so it shrugs off dust and washdown spray common in mill control rooms. The protection rating also includes IP00 and IP20 for the rear terminals.
