DIN-rail temperature controller with multi-sensor input
The Omron E5DC-CX2ABM-015 is a DIN-rail mounted process and temperature controller that accepts RTD and thermocouple types B, E, J, K, L, N, PLII, R, S, T, U, W, plus analog signals 0-20mA and 0-10VDC. The input range spans -200°C to 2300°C, covering most industrial heating and cooling loops. It runs on a universal 100-240VAC supply and communicates over RS-485 using CompoWay/F or Modbus protocols, making it straightforward to integrate into existing PLC or SCADA networks.
Outputs and control for process loops
The controller provides two output channels: one analog output and two relay outputs for on/off or alarm functions. Control methods include On/Off and proportional PID. The dual-color LCD backlit display shows two rows of four characters each (8.50mm and 8.00mm character heights), giving simultaneous readout of process value and setpoint.
The IP20 rating means it is intended for use inside an enclosure, not in wet or dusty environments.
