Controls integrator note
The E5DC-RX0ASM-015: Its input range covers RTD, thermocouples B–W, and 0–20 mA or 0–10 VDC, so one part number handles most temperature and low-level process signals in a panel.
DIN-rail vs panel-mount sibling
The functional sibling E5CC-RX3A5M-003 shares the same control method (On/Off, PID), relay output, RS-485 communications, and 100–240 VAC supply, but it mounts in a 45 mm panel cutout (IP66 front), not a DIN rail. The E5DC is IP20 and clips onto the DIN rail — no cutout needed. If your BOM is locked to a panel cutout, the E5CC is the correct path; if the panel is built on a DIN-rail layout, the E5DC drops in without rewiring the I/O or changing the control loop.
What the relay output means for your loop
The relay output is rated for the supply voltage range, so it drives contactors or solenoids directly without an intermediate SSR — watch the inrush if the downstream load is inductive.
