Product details

Sensor compatibility and input range

The E5DC-RX2DSM-002: Accepts RTD, thermocouple types B, E, J, K, L, N, PLII, R, S, T, U, W, plus 0-20 mA and 0-10 VDC process signals. The input range spans -200°C to 2300°C, covering most industrial temperature loops without needing a signal conditioner between the sensor and the controller.

Control and output configuration

Three relay outputs drive heaters, contactors, or alarms directly. Control method is selectable between On/Off and Proportional (PID) — the PID loop auto-tunes on startup, so a line-down swap doesn't require re-entering tuning parameters from scratch.

Communications and panel integration

RS-485 port supports both CompoWay/F and Modbus protocols, so it drops into existing PLC networks without a protocol converter. DIN rail mounting and screw terminals keep wiring time under five minutes per unit — no panel cutout or DIN rail adapter needed.

Power supply and environmental limits

Runs on 24 VAC or 24 VDC — one supply rail covers both, simplifying panel layout. The IP20 housing is fine for a clean control cabinet; operating range of -10°C to 55°C covers most indoor plant-floor environments without forced cooling.
