Universal input, dual analog control
The Omron E5EC-CC4A5M-013 accepts RTD and ten thermocouple types (B, E, J, K, L, N, PLII, R, S, T, U, W) plus 0-20 mA and 0-10 VDC linear process signals, covering the range -200°C to 2300°C. That means one part number handles most temperature loops on a machine — no need to stock separate TC and RTD controllers. Two analog outputs for retransmission or valve positioning, plus four relay outputs for alarm or on/off stages. The event input monitors heater break or external contact.
The IP66-rated front panel (dust-tight and protected against hose-directed water) means this controller can be mounted on a washdown-zone panel face — food, beverage, or chemical processing lines — without a secondary cover. The standard rectangular cutout is 92.00 mm x 45.00 mm, the same footprint as the rest of the E5EC family, so swapping in a sibling with different output mix requires no panel rework. The tri-color LCD backlight (three character heights: 18.00 mm, 11.00 mm, 7.80 mm) gives the operator a quick status read at a glance — green for normal, red for alarm, etc.
