The Omron E5EC-CX4D5M-013 is a current-production panel-mount process and temperature controller from the E5EC family. It accepts inputs from RTD and a wide range of thermocouples (B, E, J, K, L, N, PLII, R, S, T, U, W) as well as 0–20 mA or 0–10 VDC process signals. The controller provides a proportional (PID) or on/off control algorithm and drives both an analog output and four relay outputs, plus a dedicated event input for remote hold/trigger functions. Supply is 24 VAC/DC, and the housing seals to IP66 for washdown environments.
Panel integration notes
The rectangular cutout measures 92.00 mm x 45.00 mm; screw terminals accept standard control wiring. The tri-color LCD shows up to four process variables or parameters on three rows (four characters each). The event input can be wired to a limit switch or PLC digital output for remote start/hold. Ambient temperature range is -10°C to 55°C; IP66 rating means the front face tolerates hose-down cleaning.
