Panel-ready 1/4 DIN controller with dual relay outputs
The Omron E5EC-PR0ASM-800 is a 1/4 DIN panel-mount process and temperature controller accepting RTD Pt100 and thermocouple types B, E, J, K, L, N, PLII, R, S, T, and U, plus linear 0-20mA and 0-10VDC process signals — covering a span from -200°C to 2300°C. Two relay outputs handle basic heat/cool or alarm assignments; the control method switches between On/Off and PID, covering simple limit control through closed-loop tuning. Supply voltage is 100-240VAC, so no separate control transformer is needed in most industrial panels.
IP66 front and screw-terminal wiring
The front bezel is rated IP66 — dust-tight and protected against hose-spray, making it a fit for food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and other washdown environments where the controller face is exposed to cleaning cycles. Panel cutout is a standard 92mm x 45mm rectangle — the 1/4 DIN footprint that drops into existing punched holes without adapter plates. Screw terminals accept ring or fork lugs; field wiring needs no special crimp tool. Ambient rating is -10°C to 55°C — fine for indoor panel environments but not for unheated outdoor enclosures where freezing can occur.
Dual-row display and active production status
The LCD backlit display shows two rows of four characters each — the upper row at 18mm height, the lower at 11mm — readable across a control room aisle.
