Compared to the E5CC sibling
The common cross-shop is the E5CC-CX3A5M-004. Both run the same sensor set and RS-485 protocol (CompoWay/F, Modbus). But the E5EC-PR4D5M-004 packs six relays versus three, uses a tri-color display (E5CC is dual-color), and the display digits are taller — 18mm for the main row. Panel cutout is the deal-breaker: E5CC is 45mm square; E5EC requires 92x45mm rectangle. You can't drop one into the other's hole without sheet metal work. Also, this E5EC runs on 24VAC/DC; the E5CC-CX3A5M-004 takes 100-240VAC. If your panel is already 24V, you save a power supply step. If it's line voltage, you'd need a transformer.
Installation notes
Panel mount, rated IP66 front — dust tight and water resistant. Screw terminal connections. Operating range -10°C to 55°C. RS-485 port supports Modbus RTU or CompoWay/F for PLC integration. Event input feature lets you trigger preset sets or reset from a dry contact.
