Controller type and input flexibility
The E5EC-QQ4A5M-011 is a process and temperature controller accepting RTD, thermocouple types B, E, J, K, L, N, PLII, R, S, T, U, W, plus analog inputs 0-20 mA or 0-10 VDC — covering the range -200°C to 2300°C or scaled process signals.
Output configuration for load switching
Four relay outputs handle direct switching of contactors or alarms; two voltage outputs (for external SSRs) allow fast cycling for heater control without relay wear. The built-in heater fault detection monitors current draw on the load side — useful for spotting failed heaters before the process drifts.
Panel cutout is 92.00 mm x 45.00 mm — the standard 1/4 DIN footprint shared across the E5EC family. Screw-terminal connections simplify panel wiring without special tools. IP66 front panel rating means the controller face withstands hose-down cleaning — suitable for food, beverage, or washdown areas.
