Controller type and input flexibility
The E5EC-QR2ABM-800 is a panel-mount temperature controller accepting RTD and 13 thermocouple types (B, E, J, K, L, N, PLII, R, S, T, U, W) plus 0-20 mA and 0-10 VDC linear inputs — covering the full range from -200°C to 2300°C. The universal input means one part number handles both process and temperature signals on the same BOM line, reducing inventory for panels that mix heater control with analog transmitter loops.
Outputs and control logic
Three relay outputs handle on/off or PID-driven switching of contactors or solenoid valves, while the voltage pulse output drives an external SSR for zero-cross or phase-angle firing of resistive heater loads.
Front-panel sealing and mounting
IP66-rated front bezel (dust-tight and protected against hose-directed water) suits washdown environments in food, beverage, or chemical dosing skids — the gasket seals against the panel cutout, not the enclosure door. The rectangular cutout is 92.00 mm x 45.00 mm, matching the standard E5EC footprint; spring-terminal connections on the rear eliminate screw-torque variability during panel wiring.
