Universal input, 5-relay output — panel-mount PID
The Omron E5EC-QR4A5M-000 is a 1/4 DIN panel-mount process and temperature controller that accepts RTD, thermocouple (Types B, E, J, K, L, N, PLII, R, S, T, U, W), 0-20mA, or 0-10VDC inputs — covering the range from -200°C to 2300°C. It drives up to five relay outputs plus a voltage pulse for an external SSR, giving you discrete control zones or alarm outputs without an add-on module. The tri-color LCD backlight shows three rows of four characters each (18mm, 11mm, and 7.8mm heights), so process value, setpoint, and loop status are readable from across a panel. Control method is On/Off or full PID with auto-tune.
IP66 front, 100-240VAC — panel integration
Rated IP66 on the front face, the controller withstands washdown splashes and dust ingress in food, beverage, or chemical processing panels — the sealing gasket between the bezel and the panel cutout is the critical barrier. The rectangular cutout is 92.00mm x 45.00mm, standard 1/4 DIN. Powered by 100-240VAC, it eliminates the need for a separate 24V supply in most industrial cabinets. Screw-terminal connections on the rear accept up to 14 AWG, and the operating range is -10°C to 55°C ambient.
