Panel fit and sensor lineup
The Omron E5EC-QX2ABM-010 is a panel-mount temperature and process controller that fits a standard 92.00 mm x 45.00 mm rectangular cutout — the same footprint as the rest of the E5EC family, so a panel layout designed for one accepts this unit without rework. It reads the widest sensor set in the E5EC line: RTD plus thermocouple types B, E, J, K, L, N, PLII, R, S, T, U, W, plus analog inputs 0-20 mA and 0-10 VDC, covering the range -200°C to 2300°C. That means one BOM line handles everything from cryogenic baths to furnace zones.
Front-panel sealing and wiring
Rated IP66 on the front face — dust-tight and protected against hose-directed water — so it mounts directly on a machine panel in washdown areas without a secondary cover. The body itself is not sealed; the rear terminals sit inside the enclosure. The tri-color LCD backlight shows three rows of four characters each (18.00 mm, 11.00 mm, and 7.80 mm heights), so the process value, setpoint, and output status are readable from the machine aisle.
