Panel cutout and wiring constraints
The E5EC-QX2ABM-011 fits a standard 92.00mm x 45.00mm rectangular panel cutout — the same footprint as the rest of the E5EC family, so no rework if swapping from another E5EC variant. The spring-terminal termination style speeds wiring: strip the conductor, push it in, no screw torquing. Rated IP66 on the front face, meaning the display and keypad survive washdown spray in food or chemical environments — the rear terminals are not sealed, so keep the enclosure dry behind the panel.
Input flexibility and output bank
This controller accepts RTD and thermocouple types (B, E, J, K, L, N, PLII, R, S, T, U, W) plus 0-20mA and 0-10VDC linear inputs — the input range spans -200°C to 2300°C depending on sensor type. The output bank is mixed: three relay outputs for on/off or alarm duties, plus two voltage-pulse outputs for driving external SSRs. That means one unit can switch a contactor for a heater via relay and simultaneously fire a solid-state relay for a second zone — no need for an add-on module. The control method supports On/Off or full PID with auto-tune.
