Universal input, multiple TC/RTD types
The E5EC-QX2ASM-800 accepts RTD, thermocouple types B, E, J, K, L, N, PLII, R, S, T, U, W, plus 0–20 mA and 0–10 VDC analog signals — so it covers nearly any process sensor you'll find on a line, from -200°C cryo to 2300°C furnace. Three relay outputs handle on/off or PID control of heaters, valves, or alarms, while the two voltage outputs (for external SSRs) let you drive solid-state contactors directly without an interposing relay — cleaner signal path, fewer failure points.
Heater fault detection and IP66 front
Built-in heater fault detection monitors the load current and flags a broken heater or SSR short — a common failure mode in electric heat zones that otherwise goes unnoticed until the process drifts. The IP66-rated front panel withstands washdown spray from hose-down cleaning in food, beverage, or pharma lines — the gasket seals the bezel, not just the display window. Panel cutout is the standard 92.00 mm × 45.00 mm rectangle — drops into any existing 1/8 DIN hole without reworking the panel.
Active production, sourced per RFQ
Omron lists the E5EC-QX2ASM-800 as active — no end-of-life notice, no last-time-buy window to manage.
