Mixed output bank for heater-and-SSR control
The E5EC-QX2DBM-008 carries three relay outputs and two voltage (external SSR) outputs — a split bank that lets one controller drive both contactors and solid-state relays without an interposing interface. The relay outputs handle alarm or event logic; the voltage outputs fire the SSR gates directly, cutting the component count on a multi-zone heater circuit.
Universal input and RS-485 on 24 V supply
Input range spans -200°C to 2300°C for thermocouples and RTDs, plus 0–20 mA and 0–10 VDC linear signals — so the same unit accepts Type K, J, or R thermocouples, Pt100 RTDs, or a 4–20 mA transmitter without a signal conditioner. RS-485 is on board, making it addressable on a Modbus network for recipe upload or data logging. The 24 VAC/DC supply means it runs from a common control transformer or a DC bus. The front panel carries an IP66 rating, so washdown splashes or condensation in a refrigerated enclosure won't reach the electronics. Panel cutout is 92.00 mm x 45.00 mm.
