Six relay outputs and universal input
The Omron E5EC-RR4D5M-000 is a 1/16 DIN panel-mount process controller with six relay outputs — enough to drive a heater, alarm, and auxiliary contactor without adding an external relay bank. It accepts RTD and thermocouple types B, E, J, K, L, N, PLII, R, S, T, U, W across a -200°C to 2300°C span, plus 0–20 mA or 0–10 VDC analog process signals, so one SKU covers both temperature and linear process loops.
24 VAC/DC supply and IP66 front
Runs on 24 VAC/DC — common in control panels where 24 V is already bussed for PLC I/O, eliminating a separate 100–240 VAC supply run. The IP66-rated front bezel seals against washdown and dust ingress, so this controller can live on a panel door in a food-processing or washdown area without a secondary cover. Panel cutout is 92.00 mm x 45.00 mm rectangular — the standard 1/16 DIN footprint that drops into existing punch patterns without adapter plates.
PID with auto-tune and tri-color display
Control method is On/Off or proportional (PID) with auto-tune — the loop self-configures on first run, so a commissioning engineer can walk away after setting the setpoint and let the controller find the tuning constants. The LCD shows three rows of four characters each in tri-color (red, green, orange) backlight — the process value, setpoint, and output status are visible from across a machine cell, and the color changes on alarm to catch operator attention.
