The Omron E5EC-RX4A5M-010 is a 1/16 DIN-sized process and temperature controller with a 92.00mm x 45.00mm rectangular panel cutout. Five relay outputs on board — that's one more than the 4-relay E5EC-QX4A5M-011 variant. The fifth relay can serve as an independent alarm output or a second-stage control output without adding an external module.
Input flexibility — thermocouple, RTD, or analog
This controller accepts RTD and 13 thermocouple types (B, E, J, K, L, N, PLII, R, S, T, U, W) spanning -200°C to 2300°C, plus 0~20 mA and 0~10 VDC analog process signals. That means you can land it on a Type K thermocouple for a 1200°C furnace or a 4-20 mA pressure transmitter without swapping the board. The input range covers the full span of each sensor type — no need to order a separate high-temp variant for a 2000°C application.
