Five relay outputs and universal input — the panel fit
The Omron E5EC-RX4ABM-010 is a panel-mount temperature controller that accepts RTD and 13 thermocouple types (B, E, J, K, L, N, PLII, R, S, T, U, W) plus 0–20 mA and 0–10 VDC process signals — so one part number covers most loop types on a machine without stocking multiple input modules. Five relay outputs let it drive a staged heating/cooling sequence or alarm annunciation without an external I/O expander. The control method switches between On/Off and full PID, which means the same controller handles simple tank heaters and precision oven zones.
Spring terminals and IP66 — wiring and washdown
Spring-clamp terminals replace screw clamps — wire insertion is tool-less for solid or ferruled stranded conductors, which shaves a few minutes per panel when you're wiring a dozen controllers. The front panel carries an IP66 rating, so the display and keypad survive washdown in food, beverage, or pharmaceutical lines. The housing body behind the panel is not sealed — the IP rating applies to the bezel-to-panel interface when the gasket is seated.
Active production — sourcing the BOM line
The 100–240 VAC supply covers global line voltages without a transformer tap change.
