Universal input, four-relay output, Modbus on 24 V
The E5EC-TCX4D5M-004 accepts RTD, thermocouple types B/E/J/K/L/N/PLII/R/S/T/U/W, plus 0–20 mA and 0–10 VDC signals — one controller covers most process loops without a signal conditioner. Four relay outputs handle on/off or PID control loops; the RS-485 port speaks Modbus or CompoWay/F, so it drops into a PLC-based line without a gateway. Runs on 24 VAC or 24 VDC — common panel supply, no separate control transformer needed for the controller.
IP66 front, standard 92x45 mm cutout
The front panel is rated IP66 — dust-tight and protected against hose-down, so it suits food, beverage, or washdown zones without an overlay. Panel cutout is 92.00 x 45.00 mm rectangular — the standard 1/4 DIN horizontal footprint; fits existing punch patterns without rework. Screw-terminal termination — no special tooling for field wiring, and the tri-color LCD backlight gives at-a-glance status even from across a machine.
